Playing Dress Up

We all have that one friend who always looks amazing and, party after party, never seems to wear the same outfit twice. What’s her secret? Perhaps it’s Neva…

Founder of Wardrobe NYC, an elite wardrobe rental service with showrooms in Los Angeles and New York, Neva Lindner is one part über stylist and one part best friend. Over the past few years, she has built up a clientele of sophisticated and social women who turn to her for fashion advice and to supplement their wardrobes with hers.

Housed in a spacious loft in Soho, Neva has an expertly curated collection of the hottest pieces from luxury fashion houses. Clothing and accessories from brands including Alessandro dell’Acqua, Balenciaga, Chloe, Stella McCartney and Viktor and Rolf as well as incredible one-of-a-kind vintage pieces are available on loan to both professional stylists working on photo-shoots and party girls looking for the perfect dress.

“My clients come to me when they want to wear the most fabulous pieces,” explains Lindner. “It’s a great opportunity to try a new look for a special occasion without the hefty financial commitment.”

Neva charges a $100 rental fee + 15% of the retail cost of the item. Some of her incredible pieces include a vintage, green silk and beaded gown by Bob Mackie which is valued at $5000 but rents for $750 and a yellow silk and jeweled cocktail dress by Christian Lacroix that retails for $3200 but is yours for $480. All loans may be kept for up to one week and may travel.

So the next time you find yourself with nothing to wear or just feel like playing dress-up, call Neva at 212-343-1900 to make an appointment.
