Cherry Jones

Cocktail recipe courtesy of STK in New York City.

INGREDIENTS
1.25 oz Hennessy VS
1.75 oz Dark cherry liqueur (Wisniak)
Float of Piper-Heidsieck Rosé champagne

MIXING NOTES
Shake brandy and cherry liqueur.
Strain into martini glass.
Top with rosé champagne.
Garnish with an orange peel or cherry.

INSIDER NOTES
Cognac and brandy are perfect spirits for winter cocktails. Created by mixologist Shawn R. Sugrue, the Cherry Jones packs a punch but is mellowed by the dark cherry liqueur and Piper-Heidsieck Rosé float. The ingredients balance each other perfectly.
