Marianella Soap

Venezuela native Marianella Febres-Cordero grew up with her sisters making soap in her mother’s kitchen. Now, the entrepreneur has come stateside to launch Jaboneria Marianella, an exquisite line of handcrafted, scented soap that pays tribute to some of her most cherished childhood memories.

Aranciata, a vibrant blend of orange, teakwood and rosemary, was inspired by her memory of watching the sunset from a bench in the parco degli aranci in Rome. Coqueta, another best-seller, is a delicate mix of vanilla, grapefruit and baby powder, that captures an afternoon enjoying her grandmother’s preserves while playing with her baby sister in the family garden.

Made from 100% natural ingredients including cocoa butter, oatmeal and honey, the one-of-a-kind soap is scented with essential natural oils. A wonderful hostess gift or wedding favor, the soap comes bundled in a crisp linen pouch with a brightly colored ribbon. Prices range from $22 for 8oz to $30 for 12oz.

Available at Aedes du Venustas in New York and Stanley Korshak in Dallas as well as online.
