While Le Creuset may be known for its collection of cast iron pots in vibrant colors like red, azure blue and dijon, their latest offering at William Sonoma comes in the paler shade of grey.

The glossy enamel dutch ovens, which are slate on the outside and white on the inside, will be available exclusively at the upscale retailer.

Prices range from $210 for the oval 5 qt, which is made for braising and roasting meat, to the 7 1/2 qt round pot for $260, which is ideal for chili, soup and stew.

Besides being the chicest French pots on the market, the new color is perfect for the minimalist whose kitchen is sleek and modern.

Think of it as the Helmut Lang of cookware.
