Ol’ Lucy Blue Eyes

The infamous drink of artists and writers in 19th century Paris is now back in vogue with original cocktail recipes appearing on the chicest cocktail menus in town. Try this blueberry and ginger infused version of The Green Fairy at chef Laurent Tourondel’s BLT Steak.

INGREDIENTS
1oz Stoli blueberry
0.25 oz Lucid Absinthe
0.25 oz Simple Syrup
Splash of Lemon Juice
Drizzle of Massenez Framboise
Gingerbeer
Fresh Blueberries

MIXING NOTES
Muddle fresh blueberries
Add syrup, juice and vodka.
Add ice and shake.
Pour into highball glass.
Drizzle Framboise
Top with Ginger Beer.
Garnish with one sugar cube.

INSIDER NOTES

This unique version of the Green Fairy uses muddled blueberries to compliment the flavor of the absinthe, nullifying its tendency to overpower other ingredients.
