Hi Celia! Wonderful ideas! For my sustainable Thanksgiving centerpieces I used existing kiwi vine branches (that I use over and again) and placed them in candle holders I already owned and then decorated them up with Japanese paper cranes strung with silver wire. The cranes reminded me of turkeys and after Thanksgiving we used the paper cranes as ornaments on our Christmas tree =) You can see them here http://lotushaus.typepad.com/lotushaus/2008/11/thanksgiving-2008-global-lounge-style.html
