The Ballet Russe

In honor of Valentine’s Day, the Russian Tea Room is featuring a variety of contemporary cocktails created by mixologist Brice Moldovan. Inspired by the menus of the Russian Tea Room from 1945, they are a tribute to over eighty years of the restaurant’s rich history. Moldovan developed “The Ballet Russe,” among others, as a reinvention of those classics.

INSIDER NOTES
The Ballet Russe, named for the Russian Imperial Ballet members who founded the Russian Tea Room, is a modern version of the cocktail they enjoyed back in 1927, created with Moldovan’s “innovative twist.”  The cocktail will be available until the end of February 2009.
