Valerie at the Market
For Valerie Confections, one of LA’s most cherished artisanal confectioners, the farmers market is full of inspiration. Their newly launched collection of jams and preserves, aptly called Valerie at the Market, is created from seasonal, organic and local ingredients found on weekend trips to the farm stand.
Limited edition flavors include Strawberry Vanilla Bean, Tomato Marmalade and White Fig & Fuji Apple, which would be equally delicious on a piece of buttered toast or as a condiment to roast pork loin.
Created by hand in small batches, the harvest inspired preserves retail for $10 and are available online, at various LA farmers markets and at the Valerie Confections store.

Bought the blueberry and lemon preserves today in Hollywood and I am *loving* it!! Can’t wait till next week at the farmer’s market so I can try the strawberry and vanilla bean – or the white fig and fuji apple, now *that* sounds amazing!
